The ceremony was held this morning at 8:30 am sharp. The electronic club members were already busy preparing for the  ceremony as early as 7:00 am. Two beautiful songs were played by the Chinese Orchestra. By 9:30 am, the parents had already gone home and the ceremony was over to be repeated next year.

Bestowing Xcellance Rehearsal

Yesterday was the rehearsal for the Hari Anugerah Kecemerlangan when the Super ExaMachs are bestowed the title of Super ExaMach for the first time of the year. Almost the same ExaMachs will again be bestowed with this similar title at the end of the year. Congratulations to the Super ExaMachs.

UB2 2009 visit .. a fruitful one

 At the very last day (chapgohmei) the 2009 UB2 X-students (Pey Chin, Mei Li, Yong Le, Lee Fern, Shih Seong) visited mycikgu at his "palace".

Last school day to Chinese New Year.
The most dreaded colour for the ExaMachs but today they are seeing it - RED - when their class teachers walked into their classes as today is wear RED Day. Why? Friday mah - Torture Day!.

Surprised to see many people in JitSin today, then found out that they are here for the B1RM (RM500 for the poor rakyat). Jitsin is the venue for the distribution of the money.

Enter the Dragon

Chinese New Year is just 7 days away and the cultural club of Jitsin today launches the celebration of this auspicious occasion. Lion (sorry no dragon) dance and drumming show are the showpiece at the school assembly today. There will be a Chinese calligraphy contest tomorrow at the school hall in the afternoon.

Classroom Updated

Thanks to the "old boys of Jitsin" for installing a set of projector, speakers and screen in each and every classroom in the school. This is what mycikgu called progressive donation which will benefit the next generations. Hopefully, the young ones can appreciate these equipments and do not abused them.

With Chinese New Year (exactly) round the corner, today we are in school for photography session (for the school magazines). As usual, the glittering of the ties and dresses ensured that the pictures will turn up good to look at.

Remember at one time mycikgu blogged about the new look in the staffroom. Well, suddenly today new cushioned red colour chairs appeared in the staffroom. Heard that they were donated by some kindly souls (I do not think from the ex-students - they all pok kai ones especially to give to teachers lo).

Back to School

It shocked me to see two faces (with hand signals gesturing) outside the glass of the door at PK1 office.

Luckily  they belong to Amy and Chu Hong (now have to be very careful when looking into mirror and glasses, you know la..... with all the leftover Halloween movies still showing in cinema).

Spring Cleaning 大扫除

Today is the day of spring cleaning, or 大扫除  

Oh! Look at the mess. Who sits here hah?

The ExaMachs are given a chance (twice in a year) to show off their cleaning skills. However, some tried to show their "lau pan neo or lau pan" skills of ordering people to work. Others tried to do the refugee skills of disappearing from work.

Jitsin's teachers too are helping to clean at the places where the students left behind.

Two more weekends of holidays to go before the cycle of learning and teaching goes for another spin for year 2012.
The last exam date for STPM is last Thursday so I assume the ExaMachs will be feeling bored with a life of no purposes (no more exams to take). Some of them will immediately morphed into pesky salesgirls or sales boys that definitely will target the poor teachers at the shopping complexes.
Why can't they just stayed enjoying their holidays just as they deserved? Sleep and wake up as and when you like. Well, exaMachs will remained ExaMachs or as I said they had lost their purpose of life. Wondered how many of them will survived.

We went to take the STPM and MUET exam papers at the Education Department. All together 4 big boxes of papers for the exam.. Sorry, not the real exam papers but the objective answer sheets and exam writing pads. So for the ExaMachs, be ready for the final battle.
