I had an interesting time revisitng the Matang Mangrove Forest which I worked with USM ecologists (my professors) way back in the 1980s and 90s.

Graduation Day 2010

Today marks the Graduation Day 2010. Unfortunately I forgot to bring my camera, so many pictures that I can take with my miserable phone.

Started at 8:30 and ended before 12:00 noon.

Same ceremonial functions, just changed the students.

But it must be a memorial day for those involved.

New outlook for Staff Room

Beginning next year, hoperully, we will be looking at a new outlook for the staff room, now that the administration office had been fully furnished.

New desk, new chair and every thing new ... most probably sponsored by all the ex students.. so wait for the donation forms ...

Attended the Colloquium for Teachers teaching Form 6 on Saturday 30 October 2010. I had never really been to High School even though it was our rival school in Rugby way back in the Eighties. Old school building but does not have any aura of its past - not like my alma mater.

Action Research Course in BTPN

Attended a course in Action Research Course in BTPN in Pokok Sena Kepala Batas. This course is conducted for all Form 6 teachers. Spent the whole days there. Boring, well, it got broad band connection so I can still play with my computer, yeah!

Never really into action research, lazy research for people who want to call themselves researchers..

Another Teacher Retires

For some "older" 6th Formers, Mr Chong Min Chin had taught them the subject of Further Maths. For some in the early 2000, Form 3 Science.
Today JitSin students bade him farewell, may he enjoy his retirement years free from the antics of Jitsin students in peace and happiness.

(note: we now use helicopter to send teachers off.... oops forget to tell the pilot where to put him down.. maybe in Afghanistan)

AGM Kelab Taekwondo T6

 

Today marks the end of the Co-curricular activity for Upper 6 Taekwondo members and the beginning of the Lower 6ers with the selection of new set of AJKs.

The U6 AJK had done a good job in running this Kelab, thank you very much to the Chairman, VC, Sec and the rest of the Exco members.

I hope that the new AJK will carry on the good work and make this kelab a success.
