Allele or gene

See this is one that is two, what? Don't know.. so gene is allele and allele is not gene and so is my spining head .. yeaaa
Interesting, what is the difference between allele and gene? Allele contains gene or gene contains allele??? Wah! So difficult one huh!

    Just learnt it today. Genes contain alleles and not the other way round. Am I right? ^^
