I had been struck with a bout of fever (not sure if it is caused by the influenza flu virus) for about a week and the past five days were terrible time to endure (the last time I did encounter this situation is when my body is ravaged by the chicken pox virus). Truly, such a tiny living organisms can really create great impact on the multiple cellular organisation of cells with extreme coordination for the beginning part of the attack. Nevertheless, the survival of these two types of cells ensure that one will triumph probably because they had evolved in years to be able to produce chemicals we called antibodies to protect themselves. Such is the unique interesting nature of things.
As I was totally sort of out of this world at these times, the modern technology allows me the pleasure to use the luxury of free time to search for many interesting things in the internet. One that I stumble upon (not quite by accident) in these series of videos in YouTube by Richard Dawkins. I was actually worried that I had yet not finished the part of Evolution with the Form 6 students. The videos are great source of knowledge (no matter whether you are religious or not) for Richard Dawkins had put his commitment in explaining phenomena of biology based on evolution by natural selection as prostulated by Darwin.
I am fascinated by his commitment for science like most great scientists (Einstein, Feynman, Sagan - notably most of them were physicists) and here Dawkins is a biologist. I ended up buy his latest book the Greatest Show on Earth: Evidence for Evolution
