The last two days had been stressful to the ExaMachs. They had been put to test their mental and emotional capabilities in the 2nd Semester Test. Since this will be the last 2nd assessment for the Upper Six before the major battle of STPM.

The tree

Flame of the forest or Delonix regia has flowers that are red in colour with 5 big petals. The leaves are compound double pinnate leaftets. It is usually planted in Penang as the wayside trees by the municipal councils.

Well, it really hot lo.. so that is why it is always known as the Sports Heats. Thank goodness it ended today after 3 days of getting free vitamin E. Good to see the Upper Sixes still have the heart to run (or walk faster, which ever you look at it)

Rat Dissection - The Final Day

Today marks the completion of the rat dissection for all Bio-students. Congratulations for surviving the ordeal of killing the rat and disecting it. Hopefully, the sacrifice of the rodent is not of vain.

Taekwon-do Training

First day of training for the Lower Sixes. All 16 Lower Sixes turned up. The Seniors too are eager to show off their skills. Mr Phang even called his friend to help in conducting the training.

Form 6 Taekwondo Club welcomes the Lower Sixes (16 of them) to the club. There is no practice session as it is scheduled to be get-to-know them session but due to our nice new Form 6 Penolong Kanan, the cocuriculum activity is cancelled.
All members still gathered at the Dewan Kuliah 3 and Siew Yee the chairman managed to say goodbye to club she loved so much.
Thank you Siew Yee for leading the club for the past 12 months and all the very best in your study at the Institut Perguruan.

Nevertheless, the school is as clean as it is before the Gotong Royong begins.

Rat Dissection - The First Step

Well, in dissecting the rats, the first step is definitely to kill them (and what a cruel thing to do, to such cute creatures). The killing of the rats should be done in the most "humane" way. So, indeed are the sins of the bio-students.

Jit Sin's 9th Students' Precept about loving living things

First group to have blood on their hands today (UB1 mostly) .. 30 rats "killed" but luckily none cried (almost cried -1) Managed to finish at 5 pm and tomorrow any group .. whew

First day of holiday for 2 weeks. Do what? Sleep, eat, and watch TV and play with my computer (Champions league early tomorrow morning. MU will win?) ... no more bio but wait got to go to school for the rat dissection on Monday and Tuesday.
So watch out rat murderers! From Monday/Tuesday onwards, your hands are now stained with blood. No recluse for you unless you got an A in Biology for STPM. :)

Yes, after many hours of marking and crossing off all the nonsensical myth of biological answers from the ExaMachs, unfortunately only 9 managed to survive the first round (break down 4-4-1 UB1-B2-BP).
The rest needs Paper 1 to be safe so let's see whether the Paper 1 can make sure no more survivors.

Because JitSin has visitors (from Ministry of Education - The inspectors) for some awards. Luckily, they came in the right time to look at what Jitsins students can do best...... that is taking exam (ExaMachs)

The Battle Line is Drawn

Today is the trial run of the battle for tomorrow.
Bio F6 students will be facing the Biology paper 2 tomorrow (0730 hr).
The battle line is drawn, only a few will survived and those who do not care will not be cared off. Those who care will have to be care-ful of the ammunition of mycikgu.
